What many people think are cheat clients actually can be attributed to lag. There are not as many as people tend to claim and more than I would like to see. Subtle cheats really just make you wonder but ar difficult to detect, such as someone seemingly knowing where you are (with ST) and shooting you with a ricochet shot around the corner. Did he KNOW you were there, did he "have a feeling", or was it just dumb luck? Only the player will know without carefully watching and analyzing the players habits. As to why they cheat, it is just a statement of the world we live in. It is a society where you have to "WIN" at all costs. That is the real root of the problem, and it is really sad. Have seen a lot of cheat clients of different kind. I have never used one. What is point of cheating anyway. People who cheat may have some personal problem and need a shrink.
