The Current Maintainer of BZFlag is the person who owns the copyright on the code and is responsible for the management of the proejct.

The Current Maintainer as of 2007 is Tim Riker. He has been the maintainer since the initial open source release in 2000

Chris_Schoeneman was the previous maintainer and the original author of the project.

The maintainer is not the only project administrator for the project.
