Maps (otherwise known as worlds) are the universe that a player exists in while playing BZFlag. It is downloaded when logging into a server, and cannot change while the game is in progress.
Map Making
Maps are text files, but they may be made with an editor such as BZEdit or pyBZEdit. A plugin also exists for Blender that allows import and export in world format. A more detailed description of these can be found
