A distinction should be made between superflags and flags that are not super. G, SW, GM, ST, L, WG, SB, BU should be considered Super, the others not.  User:Hannibal

I don't think flags should be spread across different pages; not sure if that's what is being suggested?  The line between super flags and bad flags isn't clear.  What about CL?  Probably super too (gives you an advantage).  But what about PZ?  It's good in that it reduces the number of ways you can be killed.  But it's bad because you can't kill anyone while you hold it.  And US?  Is it neutral? Or bad - you wasted time picking it up!  GM isn't so brilliant, you can't lock it at close range.  BU usually slows you down and reduces the radar range.  What about team flags?  Whether a flag is labelled super or bad or whatever doesn't really matter.  Just describe how it affects the tank carrying it and adjust your playing to suit. I think all white flags are called Super Flags. Those flags are then in 2 categories good or bad. All good flags have weaknesses, and that is by design. Useless is the real fence rider as to whether it is good or bad. I could argue it either way so, maybe, it and the Team Flags are neutral as they do nothing to/for the tank. :I agree with this, I always have thought Super Flags == White Flags. TD-Linux 20:55, 8 April 2007 (EDT)

No, I was suggesting a seperate category, in the chart and general page info, for superflags.  I was under the impression that 'flags' was the term for all the white ones.  I believe on the GU non-league HiX, it advertises 'no superflags' but Tiny, V, A, etc. were on the map. Maybe I'm mistaken about this, though.  A clear definition of superflag seems to be in order, but that may be hard.  I tend to draw the line at wether a player with the given flag can dominate a game, if not, its just a good flag.  Hannibal

Well, actually the word flag means: all flags. All white flags are super flags (as mentioned by DonnyBaker), because they change the tank's behaviour. The exception from this is USeless, but it also would had been useless to create a new flag type because of this single flag. Keep in mind there can never ever exist another non-team flag that doesn't change the tank's behaviour.
+
There exist two categories ('good' and 'bad') for super flags only. Every flag that causes definitely handicap but no advantage for a player is a 'bad' super flag. It's not relevant that some 'good' super flags have disadvantages to reduce their power.

That is the way the flags are categorized now...in short: Every non-team flag is a super flag and if it only causes some kind of handicap after grabbing it's a 'bad' (otherwise a 'good') flag.

I think the flag list page should only contain a brief description of what each flag does - so pretty much the way it is now. Pages for each flag could go into more detail about tactical use etc. See for example ShockWave Terrier 16:08, 15 December 2007 (EST)
